Children aged 4 to 18 from families experiencing financial need may be eligible for funding to assist with registration fees, equipment, and/or transportation costs. For baseball, eligible children can receive up to $300 each.
To qualify, families must meet specific financial need criteria. Jumpstart recommends using Revenue Canada's Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO) levels as a guideline to determine eligibility.

Their Opportunity provides under serviced families with the means to enroll their children in local sports programs.
Children whTo receive sponsorship from Their Opportunity must "pay it forward" through Their Opportunity's give-back program, and have 3 months to complete some type of community service to show their appreciation.
Their Opportunity sponsors children whose family's total before-tax income is less than $45,000 per year.
Together with a network of 18 local chapters, Kidsport Ontario provides grants to help cover the costs of enrolment so that all kds aged 18 and under in Ontatio can play a season of sport.
