Registration Faqs

Volunteering

All parents will be asked to volunteer throughout the season.  Parents can sign up to be a coach, assistant coach, or manager. We are a 100% Volunteer organization so depend on parents to volunteer in various ways.

If you will not be in one of those positions, parents can volunteer to score keep, umpire,  help set up the diamonds for play and do base coaching.

Games

Games begin at 6:30 pm. Games are 90 minutes in length.

Schedule

Practices will begin after teams are formed.  Practice times are set by the coaches.  Generally games begin the last week of May and finish early August.

What is Learn to Play?

The emphasis is on fun, action, and a positive atmosphere with a gradual introduction to non-stressful competition. Coach pitch (t-stand available if needed), catcher's position, and safebase at first are introduced for this division. An 11" IncrediBall is used. This is a soft core training softball. In each session parent/adults are needed to run the activities/drills. Each session consists of a practice followed by a game. Games typically take place at Eastview Park.

Tournaments

Tournaments are set for the weekends of August 18 -20, 2023 & August 25-27, 2023

The Youth Festival for Teeball and Learn to Play will be August 12, 2022.  The Minor Mite Division is included in this Festival

Coaching Staff

Due to nature of working with children all coaches and assistant coaches are required to complete a Criminal Record Check

Uniforms

Jerseys and hats are provided by each individual Park as is the equipment.  Players must provide their own batting helmet with a cage and glove. Pitchers are required to wear a fielders mask. Some parks may provide this.
