Since 1948 we have successfully organized recreational softball for the children. We are the grassroots softball house league program supporting all softball/fastball, slo-pitch and umpire programs in Durham.
Our purpose is to provide a wholesome recreational environment for softball players, coaches, parents and league officials. The N.A.S.C. Softball Committee consists of volunteer Executive Members, Administrators, Convenors and the N.A.S.C. Umpires.
Our organization is open to players age 4 - 22. Teams are co-ed in the younger divisions. The season begins in May until August, playing once a week for the younger players and twice a week for players starting at the Mite division with a Round Robin style championship weekend tournament in August for all divisions, Minor Mite through Midget, and a year-end fun day for the younger players.
N.A.S.C. Softball is a sub-committee of N.A.S.C. SPORTS, a standing committee of the Oshawa Central Council of Neighbourhood Associations (O.C.C.N.A.).
We are a Neighbourhood Association program affiliated with the O.A.S.A., Softball Canada, Softball Ontario, Oshawa Ball Diamond Council.
